I have worked in an office/corporate environment for many years. I enjoy giving massages to co-workers with tension in neck and shoulders and helping alleviate stress...if just for a few minutes. This desire to heal and nurture others led me to attend and graduate from the Massage Therapy program at the College of Lake County. My style would be considered Integrative Massage Therapy. I incorporate Swedish, trigger point, neuromuscular, some reflexology and cranial/sacral and have an emphasis on range of motion. I evaluate your posture, stance and habits offering stretches and suggestions to correct what may be hindering your health and body. Providing wellness and education is vital so that you may have a greater awareness of your body and take any necessary steps to become your very best, healthy self.

After acquiring an Associate’s Arts Degree from Columbia College, I decided to pursue a career in massage after receiving physical therapy for a personal injury. The therapy made such a profound improvement in my recovery that I was compelled to pursue a career as a massage therapist. Receiving my certification from the College of Lake County has allowed me to support people in their desire to become free of debilitating pain though a program of massage and easy-to-do exercises that only take 5 minutes a day. I believe physical and mental health is essential for living a happier life, so exercising, meditating, and practicing yoga is important for overall health. I strive to bring positive energy, happiness, and overall well-being in an understanding and nonjudgmental way. My goal is to make every experience and enjoyable one.
